PLAYDAY 2008

Playday, on Wednesday, 6 August, is the 21st annual celebration of children’s right to play and we shall be celebrating it at our fun day in Ashcombe Park. The theme this year is Give us a go! and there will be the usual toys, activities and games, as well as a puppet show, circus skills, crazy bikes, a climbing tower and fun with the play rangers.

The times will be from 12-4 pm, as usual, so do come along and join us and make it the biggest Playday that North Somerset has ever seen!

One important point – before children (who must be 8 or over) can use the climbing wall, they must have a medical form filled in by parents or carers so, if you are coming, do download a form beforehand from www.mendipoutdoorpursuits.co.uk. Click on downloads and then print off a medical form if you are taking an individual child or children, or a group leader’s risk declaration if you are taking a playscheme along.
